ANUSHA ARTHUR, JUNIOR BRAND MANAGER

I like to unwind on a Sunday

“By burning a Diptyque Baies candle. I love how the scent makes you feel like you’re standing in the middle of a garden full of flowers! I also try any new brands that have come through during the week. One of the perks of my job is being able to test new products before we launch a brand—it’s exciting to be at the beginning of the whole process and to be involved in bringing newness to our customers every month.”

My selfcare Sunday routine

“Starts with the Herbario Detox Cleansing Powder and Oil rituaI—I work these products into my skin by doing a facial massage. It’s a brilliant way to start the week feeling calm and refreshed. I follow that up with the Skin Rescue Paint which helps reduce spots and the scent leaves you feeling relaxed. I also take the time to apply the Philip B Russian Amber Imperial Gold Masque. The fact that it’s gold makes it feel so luxe! I’ve found it to be a winner for my overworked hair, leaving it feeling hydrated and restoring shine. Also, my Slip pillowcase which is definitely an 8-hour beauty treatment every night.”

ISABEL BRAY, ECOMMERCE BUSINESS ANALYST

I like to unwind on a Sunday

“Like any true homebody does, and that’s by being alone. I tend to unwind by having a quiet night in with a home-cooked meal courtesy of a market trip in the morning, a good book (I just finished and really enjoyed The Course of Love by Alain de Botton), Malin+Goetz’s Cannabis Candle burning and cuddling my cat, Bleu.”

My selfcare Sunday routine

“Is an extra-opulent, head-to-toe regime. This starts with the Frank Body Scalp Scrub and Living Proof Restore Hair Mask in the shower, followed by a generous lather of Mecca Cosmetica Elixir Body Oil on damp skin shortly before I’ve completely dried off. I then throw my hair up in an Aquis Hair Turban to dry so I can focus on my skincare. My favourite part of my Sunday skincare is using the Lonvitalite Microneedle Derma Roller, which I find not only plumps the skin, but also works wonders by evening out any residual acne scarring. I like to follow this with the Verso Hydration Serum. It's loaded with niacinamide to help balance oil production and soothes inflammation. I finish by painting my nails with a slick of JinSOON polish to see me through the week.”

KERRI GORDON, CONTENT COORDINATOR

I like to unwind on a Sunday …

“By popping on a mask (if it’s mud, it’s Sand and Sky, and if it’s a sheet mask, it’s Go-To Transformazing), lighting my huge Fornasetti candle, and splaying across my bed—I’ll then call my best friend, Alice, to talk about everything and nothing—and all the bits in between. We decompress on the madness going on in our lives, send each other TikToks and listen to each other’s reactions (sounds so lame, I know!), and talk plans for the week ahead. It grounds me, relaxes me and sets me up for the new week.”

My selfcare Sunday routine …

“Changes depending on what went down on the weekend, and what’s planned for the week ahead. I’ll always use an exfoliating treatment to make sure I’m starting the week feeling fresh (either Dr. Dennis Gross Extra Strength Daily Peel, Tatcha’s The Rice Polish or the aforementioned Sand & Sky mask), and go hard on rich hydration with a layer of Sunday Riley’s Luna Sleeping Night Oil (my favourite dose of retinol!), followed by Baume 27 (it’s unparalleled). My weekends are often filled with a Netflix or Stan binge—sorry not sorry—so a thick layer of eye cream is a MUST to ditch those bags. Right now, I’m loving Shiseido’s Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Cream.”

JESSICA PITTAM, BRAND MANAGER

I like to unwind on a Sunday …

“By getting myself organised and in a calm headspace. This will usually involve Pilates at Happy Melon Studios in the morning, followed by some meal prep at home. I always look forward to a Sunday afternoon face mask while reading a book, eating chocolate and burning my favourite Fornasetti Flora candle. I know that this is an indulgent luxury that I’m going to miss once the baby arrives!”

My selfcare Sunday routine …

“Has changed during my pregnancy. I’ve definitely become more dehydrated in my third trimester. Without being able to use the usual suspects (like retinol), I have dialled-up the super-hydrating products. I start with Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin C + Collagen Sheet Mask and I use Angela Caglia’s Rose Quartz Face Roller over the top. It really helps to trap in moisture and seems to plump my skin. I’ve loved using this tool during my pregnancy, it really helps with puffiness which can be an issue, particularly as I’m getting closer to the due date! I like to follow this with a Perricone MD Brightening Eye Cream (to also help with puffiness) and AmorePacific Essential Creme Fluid which feels incredibly luxurious on my skin.”

LOUISA DE KIEVIT, DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER

I like to unwind on a Sunday

“By asking my husband to take our toddler out to the park so that I can get the “house organised”, aka, me time, and I like to run a very hot bath and just soak. Usually I have a candle burning (a Diptyque Figuier or Fornasetti Ortensia) and podcast blaring. I’m a huge fan of The High Low (however, they are on a break at the moment), and also love How I Built This with Guy Raz, Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations, The New Yorker Fiction, The BOF Podcast, TBD with Tina Brown and Desert Island Discs.”

My selfcare Sunday routine

“Revolves around a restorative and beautifully scented bath. I add Bastide Camargue Bath Salts and a splash of REN Anti-Fatigue Bath Oil. I had dry, itchy and stretched skin during my pregnancy and discovered REN Anti-Fatigue Exfoliating Body Scrub—it’s a gentle exfoliator and I like how it lathers up to a rich, hydrating cream. For the full selfcare experience, I then pop on a Mecca Cosmetica Sheet Mask, lay my head back and bliss out for 15-mins or longer, peel it off and lay there until my face drinks up all the goodness. There’s always left-over serum so I save the pack, and then before bed I scoop it all out and then use a rose quartz roller to massage the product into my skin. I’m a teeth-grinder and screen-scowler so I focus rolling over those muscles and it feels so good.“
