Service Bookings FAQs

Booking an in-store service with MECCA online is fast and easy. Simply go to mecca.com.au/booking, select your preferred store location, MECCA service, appointment time, then simply 'Add to Bag'. Continue to browse and shop, and once you are ready to check out, you will find the booked service in your shopping bag. Simply pay and check out to finalise your booking.

We like to stay in touch so we will send you a confirmation email and reminder SMS prior to your appointment or you can log onto go to mecca.com.au/account any time and check the details of your upcoming appointments.  Don't forget to arrive early for your appointment and remember, any booking fee is redeemable on product at the time of your appointment. WHY DOES MECCA TAKE PREPAYMENT FOR SERVICE BOOKINGS?

Our bookings require prepayment to ensure our availability is maximised, so you are able to get the best available booking. This service booking prepayment is full refundable, if you change / cancel outside of 24 hours of the appointment. Within 24 hours of the appointment the prepayment is not refundable.


WHY DO I NEED TO CANCEL WITHIN 24 HOURS?

We want to make sure all of our customers have the opportunity to book in for services. If cancellations occur within the 24-hour window, it results in an appointment that could have been booked by another customer going unused. We do understand that sometimes the unexpected happens, so if you need to cancel within 24 hours please contact our customer service team and we will do our best to assist you.


I HAVE RETURNED TO MY SHOPPING BAG, AND IT NOW SAYS THAT THE SERVICE BOOKING HAS EXPIRED AND I HAVE TO REBOOK?

If you have a period of inactivity on the MECCA site, the service booking will expire.


WHAT IF I AM LATE TO AN APPOINTMENT?

If life’s little hiccups cause you to be late, this may impact the length of your appointment or the type of service we are able to provide. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate you in which case you may need to cancel or reschedule. In the case we are unable to reschedule your appointment, we will allow you to redeem the prepayment on product in store on the day of your scheduled appointment.


WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER MAKE MY APPOINTMENT TIME?

No worries. If you need to cancel your appointment, go to mecca.com.au/account or contact our Customer Service team in Australia on 1800 007 844 or New Zealand on 0800 882 443, 9am-5pm (AEST) Monday-Saturday. Please be aware that changes /cancellations made to bookings within 24 hours of the appointments are not refundable. Changes / cancellations made 24 hours or more of the appointment, are fully refundable via the original method of payment. If you do not show up for your service, MECCA has the right to retain the prepaid booking fee.


MAY I BOOK BEAUTY LOOP SERVICES ONLINE?

If you are a Beauty Loop Level 3 member, you can enjoy one complimentary makeup application by a MECCA Makeup Artist per year, valid up to 12 months. Complimentary Makeup Application must be booked and redeemed by your Beauty Loop Anniversary Date. See the ‘Beauty Loop’ section for more information. If you are eligible for a Beauty Loop Makeup Application, this service will be visible when you go to book an appointment at meccabeauty.co.nz/booking.


MAY I CANCEL BEAUTY LOOP SERVICES ONLINE?

To cancel a Beauty Loop service simply log on to mecca.com.au/account or contact our Customer Service team in Australia on 1800 007 844 or New Zealand on 0800 882 443, 9am-5pm (AEST) Monday-Saturday.


BEAUTY LOOP NO SHOW

If you don’t cancel your Beauty Loop service appointment, you will be ineligible to re-book it for that campaign period. But don’t worry, you will be eligible to book a new Beauty Loop service for the next campaign period. 


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A REFUND FOR A CANCELLED BOOKING?

Service booking prepayment is full refundable, if you cancel outside of 24 hours of the appointment, please note: For cancellation of bookings that were made online, refunds will automatically be processed on to the original tender type within 2-3 business days. For cancellation of bookings that were made in-store, the refund will have been processed at the time of the cancellation instore.


DOES BOOKING A SERVICE CONTRIBUTE TO MY BEAUTY LOOP SPEND?

Unfortunately, Beauty Loop Spend excludes returns, refunds, delivery charges, the purchase of gift cards and bookings for in store services. When you redeem your in store booking on the day, your spend will be attributed to your Beauty Loop spend. Beauty Loop Spend includes GST.
